Our Synergee Gymnastics rings are incredible tools for gaining strength, stability, and coordination. And, of course, developing drool-worthy shoulders.
Set up takes minutes; but it needs to be done right to ensure you are supported safely!!
That’s what this blog will address. We realize – based on the messages we’ve been receiving and our own personal experience with the Rings – that setting up the rings isn’t intuitive. We’ll provide a step-by-step guide today to help you set ‘em up quick!
You’ve got pull-ups to do! Let’s Go!
First, loop your Rings' webbing around a strong and stable support – like a ceiling beam, tree branch, soccer posts, etc. Ensure it will be able to support your weight before you set them up!
Get rid of any twists or knots going on. Setting your webbing straight will help it look awesome; but it will also help you avoid uncomfortable rubbing against twisted webbing edges when you go to workout!
Take the end of the webbing without the clamp on it and put it through the ring. Continue holding onto this end and feed it through the clamp behind and downwards.
DO NOT feed it straight up through the teeth. When any weight is applied, the webbing will pull through and the ring will come off.
DO feed it behind the arm, and down through the teeth. This will allow the webbing to be pinched into place.
There is an arrow that says “Feed Web” pointing the direction you will feed the webbing through the clamp.
Set your rings to the right height and ensure they are set at equal heights.
Make your rings look extra professional by cleaning up the extra webbing. There is a Velcro strap included with the Rings for this very purpose! Coil the overhanging webbing and secure it in place with the Velcro strap.
Soon enough, you’ll be thinking, “Ceiling beam? Tree branch? Jungle Gym? They all look like places to hang Gymnastic Rings to me!”
Whether you’re looking to outfit your home gym, commercial gym, or you are trying to bring your workout far and wide outside; these Rings are your ticket to making that a reality!
Once you get the hang of it, the set up is fast and will become second nature.
